I photograph relaxed, natural-light newborn sessions across Sydney and beyond. Nothing is scripted and nothing is rushed: I work around your baby rather than a shot list. Your edited gallery arrives 2-3 days later, and sessions start at $795.

Newborn sessions across the Hills District
With a days-old baby, distance is the whole problem. Being based in Sydney's Hills District means I can come to you, or meet you somewhere just a few minutes away, and work around a feed rather than a schedule.
There's no studio to get to and no appointment slot to miss. If bub needs an hour, bub gets an hour.
Travel within 30 minutes of the Hills District is included in your session fee, and if you're a little further out I'm always happy to come to you.

Newborn photography questions
When should we book our newborn session?
There's only a tiny window to capture the newborn stage: tiny toes, chubby cheeks, the newborn curl. As soon as you take your tiny human home they embark on this thing called life, growing and changing week by week. Reach out while you're still pregnant so I can hold a date and work around bub's arrival.
What if my newborn won't sleep or cries the whole time?
Worried your newborn won't settle? Convinced your bub will cry? I design these sessions specifically to take that pressure off. I capture life with a newborn as it happens, and I want you to feel at ease no matter what the day brings. There's no set shot list to race through, so feeding, settling and cuddles are simply part of it.
What happens during a newborn session?
I'll give you outfit advice and a few extra tips to create a timeless feel, gentle direction to help capture all of the cuteness, and I'll choose a newborn-friendly location so bub stays content. Mostly though, the pace is set by your baby, not by a clock.
Are these posed studio newborn photos?
No. My style is candid lifestyle photography in natural light, so your session will be unscripted and shot somewhere newborn-friendly rather than in a studio with props and posing. Your baby is one in a million, so I approach your shoot the same way.
Can our older children and pets be in the photos?
Please bring them. Plenty of the sessions in the gallery above include big brothers and sisters, grandparents and the family dog. We'll plan who's coming along at your pre-session consult.
How long until we see our newborn photos?
Your edited private online gallery will be ready 2-3 days after our shoot, so you can look through in your own time and choose your favourites, keepsakes and prints. Anything you order arrives 2-5 weeks after your session.
How much does newborn photography cost in Sydney?
My newborn Storyteller packages are designed to capture this beautiful, fleeting part of your story in a way that feels natural, relaxed and true to you. Storyteller One is $795: a 1-hour session with 20 high-resolution digital images, plus a beautifully edited gallery of around 100 images to choose from. Storyteller Two is $1,095: a 1.5-hour session with 30 high-resolution digital images, plus a $195 print credit to spend in my print store. Storyteller Three is $1,395: a 2-hour session with 40 high-resolution digital images, plus a $395 print credit. Whichever package you choose, my approach remains the same - relaxed, natural and all about capturing the little moments, the tiny details and the beautiful connection you share with your new baby.
